Send through the Architectural & Structural documentation sets along with any Specification & NTT's received to date.

  1. CostX Measure

Drawings are loaded into CostX for manual take-off. We use ANZSMM 2022 best practices for take-off's.

  1. Detailed Take-off

Scope is measured in depth and presented in a logical manner, with any site specific preliminary items such as travel, access, inductions etc isolated above.

What do you need to complete a blockwork take-off?

The latest PDF drawings (plans, elevations, sections/details), wall type/thickness notes, and any structural/masonry notes.

Will you allow for openings, lintels/bond beams and key details in the take-off?

Yes. Openings are accounted for, and items like lintels/bond beams and notable details are called out with notes so nothing gets missed when measuring or pricing.

Do you separate different block types and wall thicknesses (e.g: 140/190 series)?

Yes. Quantities are broken out by wall type/thickness and blockwork heights/zones so you can apply the correct rates to avoid scope gaps.

Can you re-measure if the drawings change and show what’s increased/decreased?

Yes. We can re-measure revisions and provide an additions/omissions summary to speed up re-pricing and support variation submissions.
