Drawings are loaded into CostX for manual take-off. We follow ANZSMM 2022 best practices while measuring.

  1. Detailed Take-off

Scope is measured in depth and presented in a logical manner, with any site specific preliminary items such as travel, access, inductions etc isolated above.

FAQ

What do you need to complete a concrete take-off (slabs and foundations)?

The latest PDF drawings (foundation plan, floor/slab plan, details/sections), specification notes, and the current revision list. If available, send any engineer’s notes.

Do you break quantities down for different mixes or structural requirements?

Yes. Where drawings/specs show different concrete types or zones, we separate the concrete take-off by element/type so builders and subcontractors can apply the right rates.

What concrete elements are included in your slab and footing take-offs?

We measure concrete quantities for slabs, footings, beams, pads, thickened edges, steps and set-downs, plus openings/penetrations where shown—issued as a clear schedule ready for pricing.

Can you re-measure if the drawings change and show what increased or decreased?

Yes. We can complete a revised concrete take-off and provide an additions/omissions summary, making re-pricing faster and supporting cost changes/variations.
